Royal Garden
A community garden project produced under the direction of Mr. Kofi Royal who has an extensive background in the field of gardening as well as a broad has a vast experience in man power planning and training over the past 35 years. Kofi grew up in a rural Virginia farming community where he worked on a farm as a boy. He is a life time member the boyscout’s of America who achieved the rank of Life scout which is one level below the coveted rank of
Eagle Scout. Mr. Royal is a Brightmoor resident and has been an adult adviser to the Artist Village. The primary goal of the community Royal Garden is to provide basic training in the area of urban farming for youth who are unfamiliar with how food is grown and the various types of food groups that can be produced in the neighborhood they live in.
